Dimension fields are enabled only where they are physically relevant. Ring/window and split-core types use internal diameter/window data; cast-resin, oil, SF6, GIS/bushing and wound-primary types use catalogue envelope screening.

Professional saturation verification is not performed with default demonstration values. At least one real project fault scenario shall be entered: maximum primary fault current through the CT, network X/R ratio and the relevant clearing / required no-saturation time. Each secondary winding then selects the applicable scenario(s).
Enter separate fault scenarios for 3-phase, phase-to-phase and single-phase-to-earth faults. The governing scenario is not assumed to be the 3-phase fault: in solidly earthed systems, near transformers or generators, the single-phase earth-fault current may be higher and shall be checked separately. Secondary cable resistance is calculated from the actual CT secondary circuit loop; for a normal dedicated S1-S2 pair the loop multiplier remains 2 for any primary fault type. If a residual/common-return circuit is used, model it as a separate cable segment with the actual loop multiplier.

A — Saturation curve of active winding
Curve axes are V versus Ie, matching standard excitation characteristics: steep before the knee and flatter after saturation. The curve is calibrated by Vk and Ie at Vk and shall be replaced by the manufacturer excitation test curve for final design.
B — All windings operating points
The calculated voltage points are plotted on V versus Ie axes. Basic and transient required voltages are shown; final excitation curve shall be confirmed by manufacturer test data where required.
